Developing a better understanding of our clients, and service users through their data helps us to make better decisions about our future website services. This allows us to progress our aim of raising the profile of Engineers and Engineering in society.  We are continually developing and improving this policy to make it more valuable to supporters.

When you access our service online, our web servers automatically create records of your visit. These records typically include IP-address, access times, the sites linked from, pages visited, the links and features used, the content viewed or requested, browser or application type, language and other such information.

If you edit or publish a Listing, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the Listing you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Listings on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

6. Who we share your data with?

We share information with third parties who help us provide our service and help process payments and store data. These include

WordPress, WooCommerce,  Cloudways hosting, and Stripe payment processing.

For users that register on our website we also store the personal information they provide either in a company profile or as a visitor to the site.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

8. What rights you have over your data?

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

ii] Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our Administrators have access to this information to help approve and fulfil Listings, process refunds and support you.
